Stalwart of the local music scene Trumpeter/Vocalist Audrey Powne returns to Melbourne and to the Jazzlab for one night only after an 8 month absence touring with The Teskey Brothers, she will be joined by an exceptional band featuring Sam Anning on Bass, Myka Wallace on Drums and James Bowers on Keyboards.

Described as “Very Brilliant” by legendary DJ and BBC radio presenter Gilles Peterson, Audrey’s prowess as a trumpeter and vocalist has seen her perform with the likes of Jimmy Barnes, Midnight Oil and Jose Gonzalez just to name a few. Her own material effortlessly blends elements of Jazz, Contemporary RnB and pop featuring virtuosic vocals and soaring Trumpet solos.
