Hinterlandt

Doors open at 7:30 pm
Sydney-based quartet Hinterlandt strikes a balance between beautiful melodies and intricate compositions. Their delicate instrumentation and mezzo-soprano vocals create an intimate atmosphere that blends the feel of a chamber concert with the vibe of an underground jazz club.
Their latest album, ‘Delightful Days,’ is the most accessible to date, with nine original pieces forming a cohesive arch of vocal-driven songs and instrumental interludes. Lyrically, alliterations provide the rhythm for words exploring political themes, meditative reflections and anything in between. Hinterlandt invite their listeners to be inspired and engaged in a journey of musical connection.
Nicole Smede – Vocals, Glockenspiel
