Jazzlab Orcheztra – Album Launch

Melbourne’s own Jazzlab Orchestra presses re-set on the big band tradition: creating visionary, original, genre-bending jazz music with a focus on diversity and inclusivity. Led by composer/arrangers Cheryl Durongpisitkul and Madison James Smith, the orchestra celebrates Melbourne’s next generation of instrumentalists.

The Orchestra continues the tradition of the Bennetts Lane Big Band with a monthly residency. With a focus on all original repertoire by both current and previous band members.

Tonight launches an album recorded the album earlier this year featuring works by Madison James Smith, Shaun Rammers, Elliot Lamb and Cheryl Durongpisitkul. CDs will be available on the door!
