Julien Wilson’s Prodigal Sons

Prodigal Sons revolves around the fiery first time pairing of pianist Finn Milne (recently returned from a 5 week study trip in Ghana), extraordinary Ethiopian/Australian drummer, Ebs Daramola (recently returned from 2 years at the Herbie Hancock Institute in LA) and Gippsland guitarist, Max Bruten (recently returned from studying with Reggie Workman in NY City). They will be ably abetted and provoked by virtuosic 6-string bassist, Christopher Hale playing new original material informed and inspired by West African, Cuban and Korean rhythmic cycles.
