Linda Taylor – Lexicon EP Launch

Melbourne-based jazz vocalist and songwriter Linda Taylor is set to perform her debut EP, Lexicon, in a fervent show at The JazzLab. Blending jazz, soul, and pop influences, Lexicon is a reflection of Linda’s rich musical journey, featuring soulful vocals, intricate melodies, and lyrical depth.

Recorded in April 2024, the EP showcases a talented lineup, including Adam Rudegeair on keys, Hadyn Murtagh on double and electric bass, and Stephen Caruana on drums.

Linda has been a vibrant presence in Melbourne’s music scene for over four years, performing at venues like Jimmy Hornet, Ragtime Tavern, The Brunswick Green, Bar 303 and Reine & La Rue. Prior to this, she spent a decade in Sydney, performing across the city’s jazz venues.

The evening will open with a performance by Cash Williams and Nic Malouf, who, after years of exploring the musical landscapes of Sydney and Melbourne, have come together to create a fresh blend of blues and soul.
