MIJF: Michelle Nicolle Quartet

Jazz vocalist and improviser extraordinaire Michelle Nicolle proved herself many years ago as one of Australia’s most gifted and expressive jazz vocalists. Warranting comparisons to the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Betty Carter, and Mel Tormé, Nicolle is a singer in the true jazz tradition—a creative and masterful improviser with the technique to match any instrumentalist.

Nicolle will present a collection of original work that exemplifies her great skill as both a composer and performer.
