Olivia C. Dacal and Gabe Coleman

Olivia C. Dacal (Vocals) and Gabe Coleman (Piano) are two up-and-coming jazz trained musicians who this month have graduated from VCASS.
Having studied and performed together for 6 years, their natural chemistry and talent will leave a lasting impression.

Already establishing themselves as songwriter/producers in their own right; they who have wowed audiences with their performances as featured guests at Jazz Lab. This time they take centre stage featuring a showcase of their original compositions and reinterpretations of some of their favourite influences.

Olivia is a singer with an incredible vocal range and has already produced and released 3 EPs.

Gabe is an intuitive RnB musician and composer who has started to collaborate as a producer and resident keys player with some of Melbourne’s most talented singers and MC’s.

Joining them for an afternoon of Neo Soul Jazz are Matt Coleman on Bass, James Sully on Drums with guests: Samuel Mazzotta (Guitar), Yael Greenberg (Trumpet), Dominic Carpenter (Saxaphone), Liam Graham (Trombone), Nadav Rayman (Piano)

This will also be a very special last opportunity to catch Olivia live before travelling to the US to study at the prestigious Berklee College.
