Segmento Tarantella Festival aims to promote Southern Italian traditional music and dance, and to be a catalyst in making connections between people, encouraging communication and curiosity between different ethnic communities in Australia, and promoting awareness of cultural belonging among all generations.

The Festival brings together Australian artists of Italian origin, Italian artists and other ethnic Australian communities, to offer an original and multi-immersive experience of traditional folk music and dance, highlighting how differences and similarities can foster awareness and intercultural appreciation.
