Directed by 25 year old saxophonist and composer Thomas Coleman Bell, this eleven-piece band experiments with dense harmony and rhythmic complexity in Bell’s originals. The ensemble comprises eleven highly promising young artists with Ava McDermott (vocals); Yael Zamir (flute); Brandon Bartholomeusz (alto saxophone); Elly Blackham & Thomas Coleman Bell (woodwinds); James Morrissey (bass clarinet); Christopher Rozakeas (trombone); Jarrod Hunter (guitar); Adam Davidson (piano); Jack Smythe (bass); and, Paddy Walter (drums)
