Xani

Xani is a Naarm/Melbourne-based contemporary violinist who has been pushing the boundaries of violin playing over the last two decades. Using electronic effects and live looping, Xani’s compositions, songs and improvisations are creative, inventive and exploratory.

Over three weeks, Xani will be joined by special guests to explore and improvise new music inspired by jazz, Krautrock, folk and electronic dance music. Each week she will be performing one set with a guest artist, and a second set with her long time collaborator Justin Olsson (drums).

Tonight’s special guest is Tamil Rogeon on Violin.
