A ceaseless chase, the Monkey Sonnet spirals through a labyrinth of unspoken tones—threads of sound coiled loose or tight, seeking the pulse to halt the invisible, yet at times,  the notes remain always elsewhere, elusive.  We reach, stretch compositions like fabric spun from the fur of unwandering minds, hands tracing nonpatterns over inkless pages; unremembered. “Perhaps they’ll weave near-sonnets from their scattered glances, sparks fall fleeting—embers lost in the unvoid.” The dance of might-be and never-was hums in the silence: the art of waiting for a flame.
