Michelle Nicolle Quartet

Over the last 25 years Michelle Nicolle has forged a reputation as Australia’s most gifted jazz singer.  Her ability to get right to the heart of a song, whilst being a masterful improviser with the technique to match any instrumentalist Michelle has toured nationally & internationally with her Quartet and sang alongside the biggest names in the jazz world including Wynton Marsalis, Kurt Elling.

Her new ABC Jazz release, “10 – MN Live at The Jazzlab”  the 10^th album showcases Michelle’s talents as a composer and lyricist of each track on the album. Joined by the fabulous Hugh Stuckey (g), Tom Lee (b) and Ronny Ferella (d) Michelle will also reflect on some of the favourite tunes from her other 9 albums and beautiful ‘standards’.
