Sam Keevers Trio – Replaced by The Theo Carbo Band

The Sam Keevers Trio are Sam Keevers (Piano), Christopher Hale (Bass), and Danny Fischer (Drums).

Formed in 2015, the trio performs originals and standards from the American, Cuban and Australian songbooks.

Sam, Danny and Chris have played with many International and Australian Artists including Joe Lovano, John Scofield, Ron Carter, Joe Bataan, Mavis Staples, Meshell Ndegeocello, Jim Black, Joss Stone, Sting, Tim Ries, Lionel Loueke, Jamey Haddad, Chris Potter, Katie Noonan, Scott Tinkler, Jamie Oehlers, Stephen Magnusson, Andrea Keller, Michelle Nicolle, Gian Slater, Ali McGregor, Archie Roach and many others.

With long associations in other groups, (Jamie Oehlers Quartet and Los Cabrones) Sam, Danny and Chris have built a strong rapport as a
rhythm section and use this as the foundation for a dynamic, intense trio that loves to explore.
