Joabe Reis (Brazil)

Joabe Reis is a trombonist, composer, and music producer, widely recognized as one of the most important voices in contemporary Brazilian jazz.

He has performed his original show at The Town Festival, sharing the stage with world-renowned artists such as Jacob Collier, Snarky Puppy, and Kamasi Washington. Joabe was also invited by Shawn Mendes as a special guest at the Lollapalooza Brazil show and has toured across Europe with sold-out performances at iconic venues including Ronnie Scott’s in London and Jamboree in Barcelona.

His single “Drive Slow” featuring Theo Croker and Zudizilla has received critical acclaim, and he is currently recording his new album, set for release at the beginning of next year.

Joabe has already released two original albums and collaborated with celebrated artists including Bob Mintzer, Elliot Mason, Robin Eubanks, Toninho Horta, Family Company, Macy Grey, Nelson Ayres, Gabriel Grossi, and Ed Motta.
