Will Jones Big Band: The Andrews Sisters Christmas Special

After a hugely successful run of sold-out shows, the Will Jones Big Band makes its long-awaited return, this time at the all-new Bennetts Lane Jazz Club – for our Christmas Special! Featuring, as always, the vocal trio of Rhea John, Ruby Glynn and Meg Pearson, come and hear the band play a mix of all-time classic Andrews Sisters tunes, and heartwarming Christmas melodies with a jazz twist.

Will Jones is an upcoming trombonist, bandleader, composer and educator from Naarm/Melbourne, with a passion for jazz and improvised music. He completed his Bachelor of Music (Honours) at the Victorian College of the Arts and Monash University. Will is a versatile musician who performs across jazz, classical, theatre, and other contemporary styles on the trombone, euphonium and tuba. His most notable work has been his popular Will Jones Big Band, which has sold out all of its shows so far. In just the early stages of his career, he has had the opportunity to work with influential musicians such as Danilo Pérez (PAN), Deborah Cheetham AO, Paul Grabowsky AO, Vince Jones, and Kristin Berardi, including appearances at the and Melbourne International Jazz Festival.
