Returning from an extensive period of study in Switzerland, Melbourne pianist Max Teakle sets up behind the piano for a showcase of original works and sounds from the front line of the European scene, aided and abetted by long-standing rhythm section co-conspirators Fred Booker Malcolm and Quinn Knight.

Herrgöttli is a novel amalgam of musicians. Together they present a sound rooted in the lucidity of rhythm, attended by improvisational unfoldment and a love for listening.
