Nadav Rayman Trio & Special Guests

“Shapeshifting and soulful instrumental jazz” as described by judges of the Australian Music Prize for the nomination of their debut album, Second Sight, “…this is an outfit stretching out musically, while still remaining remarkably accessible”.

The trio featuring Nadav Rayman (Piano), Matthew Coleman (Bass) and Michael Evans-Barker (Drums) continues to reach out to the inflection point of contemporary soul jazz and hip-hop.

A string of sell out performances have followed their vinyl release in 2022, for which the trio have earned a reputation for energetic shows which feature some of Melbourne’s finest R&B and hip-hop talent.

Performing two sets of original compositions by the trio and guest artists, this show features stunning soul vocalist Candice Monique, charismatic MC Willy Dynamo (the 70’s inspired alter ego of producer 2nd Thought), uplifting Seattle-born MC and truth-teller Strictly D.T. and flamenco guitar virtuoso Luke Koszański.
