Tom Lindsay – “Mythologies”

Multi-instrumentalist and composer Tom Lindsay takes to the Jazzlab stage to celebrate the release of his debut EP, Mythologies. Lush harmonies, improvisation, jazz-adjacent melodies and genre-hopping textures create the space in which Tom tells his stories. Mythologies is a body of work that has followed him like a shadow for the past three years, paying homage to an eclectic list of influences including The Beatles, Erykah Badu, Hozier and Prince.

Tom will perform the EP in its entirety — live and improvised, just as it was meant to be experienced. He will also play the songs that helped shape this collection. Joining him are Mitchell Geddes on keys, Josh Boult on guitar, Ethan Colussi on bass and Oska Morrison-Petersen on drums.
